Transition to Kindergarten
Transition to Kindergarten (TTK) is for children who are not currently attending an early learning program and will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2026. The program focus is on building basic academic, social, and self-help skills. If you are interested in TTK and believe your child may qualify, please submit the Interest Form. Deadline is Friday, December 12, 2025. Screenings will be scheduled in November and early December. Click the headline to submit an interest form.

If you or someone you know needs help, it's important to know where to find support.
Click on the REPORT/ASSISTANCE button on any page on our website. There, you'll discover a variety of resources covering suicide prevention, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, and more. We've also got information on safely storing prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as firearms and ammunition. Additionally, we offer mental health referrals and guidance on reporting incidents through our safety tip line. Remember, if there's an immediate emergency, call 9-1-1.

Now enrolling kindergarten students for our Dual Language Spanish Immersion Program at Emerson and Silver Lake elementary schools. Students learn in both English and Spanish, building bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural skills. Transportation is provided! | Estamos inscribiendo a estudiantes de kindergarten en nuestro Programa de Inmersión en Español en las escuelas primarias Emerson y Silver Lake. Our school recognized for closing gaps in the classroom!
The Washington School Recognition Program names schools for closing gaps in the classroom, and our school is one of them! Based on the Washington School Improvement Framework, schools are recognized more equitably for closing gaps, growth, and achievement. Our school was recognized for ACHIEVEMENT for the whole school.
