There, you'll discover a variety of resources covering suicide prevention, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, and more. We've also got information on safely storing prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as firearms and ammunition. Additionally, we offer mental health referrals and guidance on reporting incidents through our safety tip line. Remember, if there's an immediate emergency, call 9-1-1.

Families must apply and qualify for this benefit based on household income or other eligibility criteria by May 31 (families receiving state nutrition benefits are already enrolled).     Now enrolling kindergarten students for our Dual Language Spanish Immersion Program at Emerson and Silver Lake elementary schools. Students learn in both English and Spanish, building bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural skills. Transportation is provided! | Estamos inscribiendo a estudiantes de kindergarten en nuestro Programa de Inmersión en Español en las escuelas primarias Emerson y Silver Lake. Los estudiantes aprenden en inglés y español, desarrollando habilidades bilingües, biliteratas y biculturales. ¡Se proporciona transporte!

  • Class of 2025!

    Graduation season is here, and we could not be prouder of our students!   •  Book Exchange

    Student Council Hosts an SFE Book Exchange

    Our Student Council will be hosting a Book Exchange on June 18th.  Families are invited to donate gently used books from kindergarten to 7th grade reading levels that their child has outgrown. Please label the books with the reading level or age range. We will be collecting books through June 13th.  Our hope is that every student will be able to take home 1-2 books that are new to them.

  •  Field Day

    Field Day is June 11

    Field Day will be on June 11. Our 3rd through 5th grade students will be going outside from 9:30 am to 10:50 am and our kindergarten through 2nd grade students will be outside from 1:40 pm to 3:10 pm. As a reminder, please make sure that your student has their water bottle and wears appropriate clothing for the weather.

    Our school recognized for closing gaps in the classroom!

    The Washington School Recognition Program names schools for closing gaps in the classroom, and our school is one of them! Based on the Washington School Improvement Framework, schools are recognized more equitably for closing gaps, growth, and achievement. Our school was recognized for GROWTH for one or more student groups and ACHIEVEMENTt for the whole school. Click headline for news release.
