Madison Elementary Parents & Students-
Social-emotional learning is vital for students because it teaches them important life skills, including the ability to understand emotions & manage their emotions in an expected way. It also helps them develop a positive self-image, take responsibility for their actions, and to develop positive relationships with the people in their life.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) resources are being made available to families by the Committee for Children (CFC), creators of the Second Step Program used in all elementary schools in the district.
Here is a CFC resource page that families can access without an account. CFC will be adding information to this page.

Additionally, families can view/access lesson materials specific to their child’s grade by creating an account via https://www.secondstep.org/
