      Weekly Math Activities:

      Math Activity 1: i-Ready Assessment

Please take the i-Ready diagnostic test online. Find information about the test, including the flier and video on how to give the test, here: District iReady information.  You can find the test here: i-Ready. Your login and password are your lunch number. Please do your best to answer the questions, but if you don’t know the answer, it is okay.  Just make your best guess and move on. This test will help us make sure you get the right games and lessons on i-Ready as we move into the summer months.

*Parents, it is so important for students to answer questions independently. Please encourage your childand allow breaks as needed, but do not help your student answer the questions. See this iReady Parent Handout for more information from the district. Thank you!*

Math Activity 2:  Exploring the 100's Chart

Watch this video. We sent home a hundreds chart in the mail. Look at your hundreds chart.  What patterns do you see?  Color all the numbers that fit your pattern with a with a crayon, colored pencil or other light writing utensil. Don’t use markers or you won’t be able to reuse this for our games next week! (If you haven’t received your hundreds chart, use this printed one or this Number Chart online.)

      Math Activity 3: Missing Numbers

Watch this video. With a family member, take turns covering a number on the 100s chart with a penny or other object. The other person then has to guess what number is covered.
