Principal's Message 2025-26
-
Welcome back to a new school year at Sequoia High School! I hope your summer provided time to rest, reflect, and recharge. As we open our doors for the 2025–2026 school year, I am filled with pride and excitement for the journey ahead.
Last year, our school community achieved tremendous success—most notably in our graduation rates and overall student achievement. These gains reflect the resilience, hard work, and dedication of our students, staff, and families. Whether it was in the classroom, through credit recovery, or in our hands-on learning opportunities, our students proved what’s possible when they are supported, seen, and believed in.
This year, we are committed to building on that momentum. At Sequoia, we understand that every student’s path is unique, and we remain devoted to providing flexible, personalized learning that meets students where they are and helps them grow into their full potential. With expanded supports, deeper community partnerships, and a renewed focus on connection and engagement, we aim to make this our most impactful year yet.
To our students - know that you belong here. This is your space to learn, grow, and thrive. To our families - thank you for entrusting us with your students. Your partnership is invaluable. And to our staff - your commitment to fostering hope and opportunity makes all the difference.
Let’s make this a year of purpose, growth, and continued success.
Welcome back, Sequoia family—we’re just getting started.
Respectfully,
Jack Roy
