Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the 2025 – 2026 school year. We are excited to continue to serve students and families alike at one of the top elementary schools in Washington State. Cedar Wood Elementary has been recognized as an award-winning school for nearly two decades straight. This speaks to our commitment to students and the partnership we have with our parent community. 

I value parent input and communication regarding concerns and celebrations in providing an exceptional experience for our students. With that in mind if you ever have questions or ideas, please reach out so we can work together to continue to grow in our work to support students.

One area that we are working on improving is the traffic flow in our parking lot. This fall you will see significant changes based on parent input and working with our district Safety and Security Team.  Please be patient as we navigate this new flow in an effort to create a safer space for our student and families in the parking lot.
