Dear EHS Community,
We are excited to share with you that Everett High School’s School-Based Health Center (SBHC) is now open to our students! The center is conveniently located on campus and the Community Health Center of Snohomish County will provide primary care services, including medical care, behavioral health support, and health education, all at no cost to families.
Why this matters
The SBHC makes it easier for students to access the care they need without missing school or requiring transportation. The goal is to ensure every student is healthy, focused, and ready to learn. What is the difference between seeing the school nurse and visiting the SBHC?
School nurses are responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of the entire student population’s health within their school buildings. SBHCs provide primary, behavioral health, and other healthcare services, such as dental care, to enrolled students. The school nurse can refer students to school-based health services if needed for follow-up care, immunizations, sports physicals, etc. Read our handout in English and Spanish for a full list of services.
How to get started
To receive care at the School-Based Health Center, students must be registered. Registration only needs to be completed once. Why register now?
We encourage families to complete registration even if your student does not need an appointment yet. Having the forms on file will save time and make scheduling easier when care is needed. What to do
You can fill out the registration here.
