If your children are absent or you know of dates that they will be gone or are going to late, please email our attendance line at cweattendance@everettsd.org.  Although you may tell the teacher of an absence you must also let the office know. Our state law only permits children to miss school if they are ill, observing a religious holiday or impacted by a family emergency/funeral. 

Students missing more than 30 minutes at the start or end of the school day are considered absent for half a day, not tardy. The state attendance law requires schools to refer parents to the court system if their children miss too many days of school. Parents considering an extended family absence should first contact Kira Reynolds at 425-385-7703 or CWEAttendance@everettsd.org to discuss the legal implications of any additional absences.
