    Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year.
     
    This will be my 18th year of teaching, and my 11th year at Heatherwood. Before becoming a teacher, I went to beauty school in Chicago and owned a salon there for six years. I received my Bachelor's degree in Equestrian Science at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. I worked as a professional horse trainer for many years in Nebraska, Maine, Australia, Kentucky, and Michigan before going back to school to get my teaching certification at Eastern Michigan University. I am so excited about the start of a new school year and look forward to a year full of learning, growth, and discovery. 
     
    The best way to keep up with my class is to check the BLOG located in Canvas. Once you've signed into your Canvas account, go to your science class, then click on "Modules" on the left. There is a specific module for blog posts.
