I am very excited to have your student in my 5th grade class this year! I am looking forward to a full year of learning and growth.

 

This will be my 19th year at Woodside. My first three years at Woodside were in the Title 1 Reading program, then I spent 4 years teaching 2nd grade, and 13 years teaching 3rd grade. This will be my 1st year in 5th grade. This year, I am looking forward to a great year in 5th grade and all the exciting things that will occur this year! This summer, I celebrated my 15th year anniversary with my amazing husband, Rashid. We have two daughters, Emelia, who is almost 14 years old, and Naya, who's 11 years old. I truly enjoyed my summer traveling and spending time with family, and now I am ready to start another fantastic year! I know this year will be full of different adventures and obstacles, but together I know we can make it a success!
