The athletic fee helps to cover some of the costs associated with athletics, including transportation, officials' fees, and coaching stipends.  All students are required to have an ASB card in order to participate in a sport.  The ASB fee assists with the purchase of uniforms and equipment necessary to run the programs at your school. 

The athletic fee is part of the clearance process for each season.  A student becomes eligible to compete in a contest after the fee has been paid.  The fee for each high school sport is $100 and $40 for each middle school sports season.  Payment can be made AFTER the teams have been selected for cut sports or on the first day of practice for non-cut sports.  

Payment is made in the office (cash or check payable to Everett Public Schools) or online with credit card.  The online payment portal will open after tryouts are complete for "cut" sports and on the first day of tryouts for "non-cut" sports.  Follow the links below to see when you can pay your student's participation fee online:

If you need to request a reduced fee or if your student qualifies for free/reduced lunch and you would like the fee waived, be sure to indicate this when registering your student in Final Forms and complete the  Request for Athletic Fee Waiver and online Household Income Report form.  

Sixth grade athletes do not compete, so are therefore not required to pay the athletic fee.
