How do I sign up for the High School Summer Academy?
For credit recovery and programs for Multilingual Learners and students with IEPs, students will sign up through their school counselor or success coordinator.
For online courses, register using the Online High School Summer Academy Registration link listed under Quick Links on this webpage.
-
How does enrollment work?
Enrollment for online classes is based on the date of registration. It is also based on availability. Many classes fill up early, so registering early is advised. Once a class meets its enrollment cap, students will be placed on a waiting list. If students cannot continue with the class, waitlisted students will be asked to join, based on the order of enrollment.
Students who would like to register for credit recovery or Multilingual Learner summer courses should meet with their school counselor or success coordinator.

Which classes are available through High School Summer Academy?
The Online High School Summer Academy Course Catalog describes the courses available this summer.
-
How many online classes can I sign up for during the summer?
Students may take only one online class (one semester) at a time during the summer. College and Career Readiness Seminar (CCRS) and PE are the only classes that can be taken concurrently with one other class.
To be eligible to enroll in a second online class during the summer, you must earn a passing grade in the first class prior to Friday, July 11. This allows time to complete the second class before the end of the summer term on Thursday, July 31.
