Saanvi helps create an inclusive environment by supporting peers from different backgrounds.

La'Zarhia Bullock
La'Zarhia actively engages in school activities, including Shelf Elf, Kindness Club, and Robotics. In addition, she was the Prodigies of Peace second place award winner, competing against other students in Snohomish County. La'Zarhia is a friend to all; teachers can rely on her as a positive role model.

Ian Park
Ian consistently goes out of his way to help those who are struggling and leads them with care. He is not afraid to advocate for those who need help finding their voice. I have seen him stand up to classmates and teachers to make sure those around him are treated fairly, and with love and respect.

Hermione Garcia Cortez
Hermione is inclusive to all and brings out the best in all her classmates. Hermione is fluent in both Spanish and English. Hermione consistently supports all her classmates in their daily activities.

Evelyn Barajas Chavez
Evelyn is inclusive of all of her classmates and other Hawthorne students throughout the day. She is an active student leader who is willing to share her ideas to make our school better. Keep being great Evelyn!

Avery is a welcoming and accepting student. She always thinks of others' needs and how she can show them kindness, such as giving them a coveted classroom job.

Peyton Cooper Taylor
Peyton goes out of her way to interact with and support kids who are struggling in class in a positive and friendly manner. She is aware of the diversity in our classroom and identifies and celebrates students' unique character traits.

Artem shows great diversity within our classroom community by always accepting and embracing the many differences we all bring to the classroom. His openness to different perspectives and experiences creates an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone around him!

Evangeline Palogon
Evey fosters a sense of appreciation for diversity in the classroom. She is very proud of her culture and loves sharing about all the different facets of her Filipino heritage. Evey is also curious and enthusiastic about the background of other students and even the characters in our books. This sparks curiosity in other students as well.

Kennedy Balkman
Kennedy is a leader, and her actions show her acceptance of all students. No one ever feels left out when Kennedy is around. She is kind-hearted and refuses to let anyone play alone. Her dedication to inclusivity and diversity, regardless of background or identity, makes her an amazing person who deserves to be celebrated.

Aviana embraces and celebrates every individual in our classroom community. She has taken it upon herself to get to know every single one of her classmates on a deeper level and is a friend to all. She advocates for others needs and interests when the opportunity arises and makes every student in our classroom feels special.

Vivaan Jaideep
Vivaan is curious, inclusive, and willing to learn from others who might be different. He can be counted on to include everybody and is a friend to all.

Tisa Moeai
Tisa joined Port Gardner mid-year and has already shown her love of sharing her own culture and learning about the cultures of others. She embraces differences as a strength and an asset to be shared with each other. She confidently shares her own life and eagerly listens to others share theirs. This positive attitude is not only one of the reasons she has already made so many friends but is also an essential part of our learning community here at PGS.

Baker is kind, helpful, and respectful with his peers. He likes to take care of others and takes pride in his work. He follows our classroom rules and always ensures that his friends are taken care of.

Rebecca Borja
Rebecca is strong in math and reading and enjoys school. She also helps other Spanish-speaking students when they don’t understand what to do or how to communicate. Rebecca has many interests outside of school, such as ballet, swimming, skiing, and skateboarding. She is a great asset to our class.

Reyansh has helped create a positive and welcoming learning environment by showing respect to all students.

Clara Rudow
Clara brings a unique perspective to the classroom, enriching class discussions daily. She embraces different cultures, shares her traditions with her classmates, and is always eager to learn from others. Her inclusive mindset fosters a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and heard.

Napattikorn deserves recognition because he is friendly toward others. He shares his culture, perseveres through the challenges of learning English, and works to include others.

Sally Zaragoza
Sally has embraced diversity as she looks for assets in each student. She began learning sign language to communicate with our nonverbal students and play together at recess. Sally has been kind, patient, and a good friend. Way to go, Sally!

Donovan Heldart
Donovan is a model student and friendly to everyone. He's always looking for ways to be helpful and shows respect in everything he does. He is a pleasure to have in class.
Evergreen
Leiver Hernandez
Leiver is the embodiment of diversity here in Everett. Not only is he part of the second generation of his family to attend Everett Public Schools, but he also seeks opportunities to bring his classmates together and has a diverse friend group and hobbies. Leiver helps to create a more just and equitable part of EPS by his very presence at Evergreen Middle School, where he is a student-athlete.

Dakota Boston
Dakota is a student with an amazing worldview. For spirit day, she dressed as a single working mother to highlight and advocate for equality and awareness. You rock, Dakota!
Heatherwood
Cemal Bedir
Cemal is a kind and thoughtful presence in our school community. He stays true to what’s important to him while always showing respect and support for those around him. We’re proud to recognize him for the positive way he treats others every day! Thank you, Cemal, for being such a warm and welcoming student.

Desirae Faye Brown
Desirae is well-known and respected, as many have experienced her thoughtfulness and kind consideration. Desirae values everyone and often goes out of her way to help anyone in need. Her kind actions are not always recognized, but that never deters Desirae from giving others her best.
Cascade
Naomy Basilio-Lopez
Naomy is in leadership and part of the Latino Club. She has taken on the task of moving Culture Night from leadership to the Latino Club. She is also organizing a Cascade Cup (Soccer Tournament) to build the school community this school year.
Everett
Keanu Weimer
Keanu is a leader on our campus. He has been very involved with our Martin Luther King Assembly and Multicultural Night planning every year. He holds leadership roles formally and informally to ensure students are seen and heard.
Jackson High
Maheder Melese
Maddie consistently advocates for an increase in diverse voices and representation. As a part of BSU, she helped lead an amazing MLK assembly. Maddie advocates for her own needs as a student with a disability, as well as the needs of others.
Sequoia
Carly Bayles
Carly is inclusive and kind to all. She looks for the strengths in others, even if they are different from hers. I have seen Carly grow up a lot since last year and overcome so many challenges that she truly has a point of view that views our differences as strengths! Although she is quiet about it—as she continues, her influence will help others see and magnify our strengths in our differences.
